Introduction
Network alarm system is a variety of transmission channels to transmit protection areas’ information to security service center quickly and accurately, so that the police officers can dispose all kinds of unexpected events in time.
So, transmission technology is important part of the network alarm system. There are several transmission technology used nowadays.

PSTN telephone-line transmission is the popular one of network alarm system. But with development of digital technology and video evidence requirement, upgrade of PSTN network alarm system is necessary.
System Upgrade Proposal

PSTN upgrade to fiber + MODEM network alarm system
1. System upgrade way:
Replace several ordinary analog telephone lines into one digital fiber, replace the ordinary alarm center machine or alarm card into a digital relay card, upgrade the CMS to suitable for relay card.
2. Features:
No phone blocking will happen using digital relay line for alarm receiving. 1 piece 2M digital fiber line can replace 32 analog telephone lines, and can automatically transfer, automatic sort and wait. One E1 digital trunk can replace about 64 pcs 2-line alarm receiver center machines.

EAVS network digital video server is a hardware device based on embedded network alarm and monitoring, with system management software and remote management platform as the core, performing powerful system management functions.
The alarm detection front-end of EAVS is composed of wireless alarm detectors, wired alarm detectors, and bus alarms, with strong compatibility. On top of this technology, functions such as digital hard disk recording, digital alarm remote service, and video remote service have been added.Alarm linkage action:
The system has the ability to handle multiple events and multiple alarms, and alarm linkage is mainly manifested in the following aspects:
Start recording: After the front-end detector transmits the alarm signal to EAVS, the server starts recording one or some lenses.
Alarm video service platform voice prompt: After receiving the alarm information from the front-end EAVS unit, the server will issue a prompt message, trigger the alarm sound file, and prompt the alarm.
Alarm video service platform image output: After receiving the alarm information from the front-end EAVS unit, the server triggers the gimbal preset position, links the intelligent ball machine or gimbal camera to the predetermined position, and the menu pops up to set the camera for alarm linkage.
Alarm information prompt: According to the detailed information of the alarm information in the alarm window, you can click to enter the alarm information interface.
Storage of alarm information: Implement alarm linkage recording, with long delay recording and slow playback functions, making it convenient to query alarm information.

5.2 Video recording alarm
Front end video signal loss and system server disk capacity space alarm. Once there is a line failure, network failure, equipment failure, etc. between the camera and EAVS, causing video signal interruption or disk recording space exceeding the predetermined value, the system will immediately detect and make corresponding actions such as sound and light alarm and log generation.
