Inspection of fire alarm system components--manual call point

After the fire alarm system is installed, it is necessary to carry out functional test on each component. There are special listed items and requirements for the inspection of each component of the fire alarm system.
What is the requirement of manual call point inspection and how to do it?
The technical requirement is:
When the starting part of the manual call point is pressed, the fire alarm signal should be sent. The red alarm confirmation light should be lit and kept until it is reset.

The following conditions are unqualified.
No fire alarm signal is sent.
Red alarm confirmation light is not on.
Alarm confirmation light cannot keep until reset.

Inspection method

1) Confirm that the manual call point is connected to the fire alarm controller and connected to the power supply, and is in normal monitoring state. Press the starting part of the manual call point and observe the display state of the fire alarm controller and the state of the alarm confirmation lamp of the manual call point.

2) Replace or reset the starting parts of the manual call point, reset the fire alarm controller, and observe the status of the alarm confirmation lamp of the manual call point.

How to inspect infrared beam smoke detector?
1. Technical requirement:
When the smoke parameter in the monitored area reaches the alarm condition, the linear beam smoke detector should send out the fire alarm signal, and the red alarm confirmation lamp should be lit and kept until it is reset. The response threshold of linear beam smoke detector should be no less than 1.0dB and no more than 10dB.

The following conditions are unqualified
No fire alarm signal is sent.
Red alarm confirmation light is not on.
Alarm confirmation light cannot keep until reset.
The response threshold is less than 1.0dB or more than 10dB.

How to inspect the beam smoke detector?
1) Confirm that the linear beam smoke sensing fire detector and the fire alarm controller are connected and connected to the power supply, and are in the normal monitoring state. The filter with a reduction value of 0.9dB was placed in the optical path of the linear beam smoke detector and as close as possible to the receiver to observe the display state of the fire alarm controller and the alarm confirmation lamp state of the linear beam smoke detector. If a fire alarm signal is sent within 30 seconds, record that the response threshold is less than 1.0dB, and end the test.

2) Place the filter with a reduction value of 10.0dB in the optical path of the linear beam smoke detector and get as close to the receiver as possible to observe the display state of the fire alarm controller and the alarm confirmation lamp state of the linear beam smoke detector. If no fire alarm signal is sent within 30 seconds, the response threshold is greater than 10.0dB.

3. Inspection equipment

Filter: attenuation value of 0.9dB and 10.0dB respectively;

Stopwatch: The measuring range is 0s to 60s.

Inspection of point type smoke detector.
1. Technical requirement
When the smoke parameters in the monitored area reach the alarm condition, the point-type smoke detector should send the fire alarm signal, and the red alarm confirmation light should be lit and kept until it is reset.

The following conditions are unqualified
No fire alarm signal is sent.
Red alarm confirmation light is not on.
Alarm confirmation light cannot keep until reset.

2.How to inspect:

1) Make sure that the point-type smoke detector and the fire alarm controller are correctly connected and powered on, and are in normal monitoring state. The smoke is applied to the point-type smoke detector by the smoke burner, and the display state of the fire alarm controller and the alarm confirmation lamp of the point-type smoke detector are observed.

2) Reset the fire alarm controller and observe the status of the alarm confirmation lamp of the point-type smoke detector.

3. Inspection equipment

Smoke burner: capable of applying test smoke or aerosol to a point - type smoke - sensing fire detector.

Note: Test smoke can be produced by smoldering mosquito coil, cotton rope, cigarette and other materials.

How to inspect heat detector:
1. Technical requirement
When the temperature parameter of the monitored area reaches the alarm condition, the point type temperature sensing fire detector should send the fire alarm signal, and the red alarm confirmation lamp should be lit and kept until it is reset.

The following conditions are unqualified.
No fire alarm signal is sent.
Red alarm confirmation light is not on.
Alarm confirmation light cannot be held until reset.

2. Inspection methods

1) Make sure that the point type temperature sensing fire detector and the fire alarm controller are correctly connected and connected to the power supply, and are in normal monitoring state. Use a hot fan to heat the temperature sensing element of the point type temperature sensing fire detector to observe the display state of the fire alarm controller and the alarm confirmation lamp state of the point type temperature sensing fire detector.

2) Reset the fire alarm controller and observe the alarm confirmation lamp status of the point type temperature sensing fire detector.

3. Inspection equipment

Hot air fan: can produce hot air flow to make the point type temperature sensing fire detector alarm.

Note: The operating temperature of point type temperature sensing fire detector is generally within the range of 54℃ ~ 78℃, and the air flow temperature should be greater than 80℃ during the test.
