Common faults of fire detectors in fire alarm systems

Unread post by vedard »

1. Fault phenomenon: the fire alarm controller sends out the fault alarm, the fault indicator light is on, and the printer prints the fault type, time and position of the detector.
2. the cause of failure:
1) Detector falls off and the base is in bad contact;
2) Bad contact between the alarm bus and the base;
3) Short-circuit caused by poor open circuit or grounding performance of alarm bus;
4) The detector itself is damaged;
5) Detector interface board failure.
6) It is used in complex and highly polluted environment and has not been cleaned for a long time.
7) Communication line (signal line) problem
III. Resolution:
1. Re-tighten the detector or increase the contact area between the base and the detector clamp spring.
2, re-crimping the bus, so that it has good contact with the base.
3, find out the fault of the bus location, to replace the detector.
4. Clean the detector and check the circuit.
