Electric Fence troubleshooting

Unread post by vedard »

1. Fault determination and troubleshooting of electronic fence
Disconnect the high-voltage insulation wire connected from the host to the front end, and connect each wiring terminal of the host with ordinary insulated wires to make it run under no load. If the fault still exists, it may be a problem of the host.If the host works normally, the fault occurs in the front end. Please check the common faults as follows.
2. The alarm status of the electronic fence host shows the fault
Cause: Leakage of cables or internal rupture of hV insulation wires in the front fence may lead to lightening or leakage of electricity at the alloy wire connection.
Troubleshooting: Use the multimeter to test the resistance value of each joint and check whether it is in the normal range. Otherwise, replace the metal alloy wire. At the same time, check the resistance value of the high-voltage wire. If the resistance value is too large due to fracture or high-pressure lighting, the high-voltage wire should be replaced.
Find metal brackets or conductors that are too close to each other, correct the distance between them, and maintain good insulation.
The power supply voltage of the host is too low (the power supply voltage shall not be lower than 190V)
3. The host displays continuous alarm
Cause: The front end has open circuit, short circuit and short circuit to earth
Use a multimeter to check whether the circuit is open or short
Use a multimeter to detect the resistance of the circuit to the ground (relatively wet weather), if the resistance to the ground is small, there is a short circuit to the ground
4. The host is not working or there is no display
The power supply of the host may be too low or the host may be burnt out
Check whether the power supply is normal. If the power supply is normal, the host may be burnt out (power supply voltage is too high or lightning strikes).
5. The host is in alarm state, but the linkage alarm device does not alarm
Cause: Linkage alarm equipment failure or abnormal linkage output of the host
Test the host linkage output interface (normally on/normally off) with a multimeter to see if it switches normally. If the switch is normal, it is the linkage device fault, otherwise it is the host linkage output module fault.
