Home Security App monitor is the popular way and easy way. With app, home security alarm alert will pop up immediately. From app alarm record, you can see the alarm zone, time. With IP security camera installed on site, you can see the spot and clear what happened.
How to download and use the app for home security?
Step 1.
Swipe the QR code to download the app or search for ST-panel on app store and download it. Then install the app.
2. Register account with the username in fild 1 as the "user" from the device's voice phone account. ( Set on panel or IE remote control server)
3. Landing on main interface, click "+" on right top and swipe the QR code on the device.
4. The device will be added and listed on the group listing.
5. Click the device icon, entering into setting and operation interface.
6.If there is alarm, pop up message and voice prompt will show up if app is running.

Home security app will work when it is connected to security manufacturer's server. If not, it doesn't work.
So, firstly, you need to use the correct alarm panel id and password for register.
Then make sure your SIM card 2G or 4G is supported and with no limitation for communication. Some countries wireless communication govement such as Chile has limitation for SIM card communication. For example, you are using China manufacturered Alarm system, your panel sim card needs to communication with China security manufacturer server (located in China). So, contact your sim card provider or operator to make sure the communication is not limited. Of course you need to check the sim card you are using including frequency and communication protocol are supported by alarm panel. (Check with alarm panel manufacturer if you are not sure)
After above information is confirmed, you need to fill in correct information including panel user id and password, notification phone number and enable it. (That is for SMS and voice alarm receiving from phone, not need to same as app installed phone number)
If app is connected to server, it will have connection successful message or code. Then you can enter into app to operate.
The alarm message will be sent to app pop up, then send to notification phone number by SMS and voice call. It will need time to wait till app can be connected to server again.

All the security sensors have to check in the the DS7000. At about a 60 minute interval.
If the console does not see a check in in about four hours. That may have contributed to the problem.
