3 types of Linear beam smoke detector

The first type is a linear beam smoke detector with a power supply at both ends. It is provided with two power supplies, and each power supply should have the main power and backup power, but also with a low level controller. The system requires regular maintenance and inspection. Therefore, its cost is high.
The second type is a linear beam smoke detector with infrared light emitting device powered by an infrared receiver.This means that the infrared pulse emitted by the emitter is synchronized with the infrared pulse received by the receiver, thus eliminating the interference from the external light source to the maximum extent. Its advantage is that the infrared emitter is directly powered by the universal power supply in the detection area, without the need for external power supply.In addition, after the alarm state is lifted, there is no need to reset the signal line remotely to reposition the infrared beam emitted by the infrared light emitting device.In contrast, a voltage drop in the detection area causes the light beam to reset automatically when the fire alarm panel is reset.
The third type of linear beam smoke detector is composed of light source and reflector, linear beam smoke detector, light emitting device and reflective level the installation distance in between 5 to 100 meters, light receiver infrared beam from the light source parts after the hit on the reflector, then return to the closed closed the light part of the light source, no signal transmission line between them.Its advantage is that the linear beam smoke detector of this type is also directly powered by the general power supply in the detection area, without the need of external power supply.In addition, this type of linear beam smoke detector also has the characteristics of the automatic reset beam of the second type of linear beam rock detector.This type of fire detection method is still smoke reduction method.
