1、 Operating instructions
1. Address writing operation
1.1 Press the power switch and then press the number key "1" to enter the read/write address interface.
1.2 Connect the L1 and L2 terminals of the circuit components using the expandable contact socket of the encoder. The detector class uses telescopic contact pins 6 and 8, while the module class uses telescopic contact pins 7 and 8.
1.3 Press the button to enter the address number (such as 100), and the LCD screen should display "100".
Press the "Write Address" button for about 2 seconds, and the indicator light of the circuit component will flash twice. The LCD screen will display "Write Address Successful". If the display fails, re address.
2. Read address operation
2.1 Write the same address, read the address without entering the address.
Attention: Choose the correct encoding mode, otherwise addressing will not be successful.
3. Writing of Setting Parameters
3.1 Fire module equipment can set parameters through encoders to adapt to on-site application situations.
3.1.1 First, press the number key "3" in the main menu to enter the read-write module configuration interface.
3.1.2 (1) SR input module (2) SC output module (3) RC input/output module (4) SG sound and light alarm.
3.1.3 Press keys 1-4 to select the module to be modified. When the corresponding keys 1-4 are pressed, the screen will display the configurations that can be modified for this module.
If you select input module 1, the following will display "Line inspection (5) open (6) closed". Press the number keys 5-6 to choose freely. When selecting (5), it means the working mode is normally open line inspection, and (6) means normally closed line inspection.
If 2 output modules are selected, the following will display "Detect (5) Yes (6) No" and "Feedback (7) from outside (8)". Press the number keys 5-6 to choose freely. When selecting (5), it means the working mode is to detect line faults, (6) means not to detect line faults, and when selecting (7), it means the working mode is self feedback, and (8) means external feedback.
If you select the 3 input/output module, the following will display "Detect (5) Yes (6) No" and "Pulse (7) Yes (8) No". Then press the number keys 5-6 to choose freely. When selecting (5), it means the working mode is to detect line faults, (6) means not to detect line faults, and when selecting (7), it means the working mode is pulse start. After the module starts, it will automatically stop for 3 seconds. (8) means normal start and maintain start.
If 4 sound and light alarms are selected, the following will display "Feedback (7) from (8) external". When selecting (7), it indicates that the working mode is self feedback, and (8) indicates external feedback.
3.1.5 Press the read-write key to write or read the configuration of the module.
Tip: After entering the read-write module configuration option, all options selected by default in the module configuration are the factory default settings.
2、 Power management
1. When the battery level is low, the battery compartment of the encoder screen battery icon will decrease.
2. When there is no button operation for about 3 minutes, turn off the LCD screen display backlight. Press any key at this time to turn on the LCD screen backlight again.
3. When there is no button operation for about 10 minutes, turn off the power supply. At this point, it is necessary to turn on the power switch again.
3、 Encoding mode switching
1. When in the main menu, press the number key "2" to enter the mode settings interface. There are (1) TC5000, (2) TC3000, (3) TCD-HZ800, (4) TC-C-2300, (5) increase, (6) increase, (7) decrease the corresponding number key to select the corresponding product (default is TC5000), and 5, 6, and 7 to select the address increase, decrease, and normal mode (default is normal).
2. This encoder can encode all TC5000 products, but currently does not support TC3000, TCD-HZ800, and TC-C-2300.
4、 Application of batteries
1. Installation of batteries
Open the back cover of the battery box, correctly insert the battery into the battery box, and cover the back cover.
2. Battery replacement
If the battery icon on the LCD screen no longer has a battery compartment, it indicates that the battery is under voltage and should be replaced in a timely manner.
Attention: Before replacing the battery, turn off the power switch.
