Problem with FC-7540

Post by pras » Fri Mar 15, 2019 4:37 pm

Hi all and congrats for this forum!
I have a problem with an FC-7540 alarm system. I am from Greece.
It has the FC-7540 firmware V1.40F_SIA_TCP Jul 22 2016.

When I place a sim card from Vodafone (new one) I have a weird situation...
When I call the alarm system, it is answering the call but the does not plays the voice message that asks for the password and all the other options.
I can activate alarm (stay or leave) without problem via sms and I can even get sms responses.

If I change the SIM card with any other SIM card from Wind, or any other provider the message is ok and all is OK.
The problem is that my provider is Vodafone and I want to have the new sim.
Can you please help me?

Also I am from Greece and the voice message is in Greek language.
If I make the firmware upgrade to the Firmware V1.42F_SIA_TCP 29-11-16 it will loose the Greek message?
Thank you in advance!

Problem with FC 7540

Hey, guys. I bought a new power adapter and battery for my wifes Gateway T1625 laptop and the adapter isnt charging the battery. The battery and adapter are the proper ones for her model laptop, but there seems to be a problem with the laptop communicating with the adapter. It will charge for a few seconds, then just show the adapter plugged in, not charging and stay that way. I checked the device manager and it shows a "code 31" in the network adapter section while the power adapter is plugged in. I have never seen anything like that before. I dont know if Vista or Gateway have some kind of special driver for power adapters or what the deal is here. Everyone I have taken the laptop to where I live says everything should work, but it doesnt. Is there anything I can do to get this working? I leave this in the capable hands of the gurus here at AMDMB forums. Thanks in advance.
