Install the gas sensor at the area where may have gas leakage. (such as gas storage tank)
The Detector must be firmly installed.
The installation position is determined by the ratio of measured gas to air, when the ratio of measured gas to air is larger than that of air. the detector should be installed 30-60 cm away from the ground. When the specific gravity of the measured gas is less than that of the air, it should be installed 30-60 cm away from the roof.
In order to use the detector correctly and prevent its malfunction, please do not install in the following position:
A. Places directly affected by steam and soot
B. Where the air flow is large, such as the air supply port, ventilator, door, etc.
C. Where there are more water vapors and droplets (relative humidity: more than 90%)
D. Where the temperature is below - 40 or above 85 C

The second step is wiring: wiring should use three-core height shielded cable (> 0.75mm2) to prevent electrical signal interference. set the line and open the top cover.
The flammable gas detector is transported by three-wire system or four-wire system. Three-wire system will have power terminal marked "24V" for the power source positive pole, the terminal marked "GND" for the power supply negative, and the signal line terminal marked "SIG".
Four-wire communication corresponds to the terminal marked "24V, GND, 485A, 485B" of the access detector respectively.
On the corresponding bus, the casing ground (cable shielding network) is well grounded. After wiring, fasten the casing.
Sensor wiring signs are "-", "S", "+", which have been connected before leaving the factory, but not by ordinary users.
You need to reconnect.

2. Start-up:
The connection is completed and the detector is powered. After starting the controller, it takes about one minute for the controller to start.
Scan the detector and display its status.
3. Monitoring:
After 15 to 30 minutes of preheating, the detector will be put into use to monitor the gas in the environment.

Maintenance
1. Inspection of the whole machine:
The detector should be inspected regularly. It shows zero in clean air.
2. Sensor maintenance:
When the sensor of the detector loses its sensitivity, it needs to be replaced. Through periodic calibration, it should be known whether the sensor is accurate or not. When the calibration value does not reach the standard gas value, the sensor should be replaced.
3. Replacement of sensors:
Replace the sensor with the following method:
(1) Remove the power supply from the detector;
(2) Open the top cover of the detector;
(3) Remove the sensor and weld the new sensor;
(4) Install the top cover of the detector;
(5) Calibration after 15 minutes of preheating.
Warning: Replacing sensors should be done at non-explosion area and by company technical service personnel or trained qualified technicians.
Factory calibration
Calibration: The detector has been calibrated with standard gas before leaving the factory. Users are not allowed to adjust it at will.
For the sake of certainty, it is suggested to calibrate it once every six months. If combustible gases are exposed to silicic acid, silane halogenated hydrocarbons, it needs to be re-calibrated. Before leaving the factory, it is demarcated by the manufacturer and after leaving the factory, it is supervised by the state Professional calibration of supervisory training.
Warning: The calibration shall be performed by the company's technical service personnel or trained qualified technical personnel. Should not turn "adjustment" to affect the normal operation!

When the flammable gas leaks in the industrial environment reaches the critical point of explosion or alarm setting, the flammable gas alarm will send an alarm signal to remind the work to take safety measures, and drive the exhaust air, cut off and spray system to prevent explosion, fire and poisoning accidents, so as to ensure safe production.
Flammable gas includes: Methane, ethane, propane, butane,Ethylene, Propylene, Acetylene, hydrogen, Carbon monoxide, natural gas, LPG, City coal Gas,Gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, Methanol, acetone, benzene.

Flammable gas detectors can be widely used in petrochemical industry, oil fields, oil depots and liquids, gas station, coal mine, environmental protection and other departments. It is an ideal monitoring instrument to ensure property and personal safety.
